Y’all know damn well a woman’s looks only go so far. She probably got passed around the ATL black elite, and they weren’t dealing with her personality, or thought she was boring. Pedro was a foreigner, with nothing going for himself. Plus, women care about physical appearance too. The men available to her may have not been what she’s into physically.
A man on her level physically has a ton of options, and won’t put up with that family.
And I guess she really loves Pedro. Plus, I think they over dramatized his language in the first season. I think his understanding of English is much better than he let on.
