Chicago charges $900 for a 1 - 2 bedroom in the hood.In Indiana you could go to the BEST neighborhoods for a 1 bedroom and pay $900.You could go to a bad neighborhood in Indiana and get a 4 - 5 bedroom for $500.

Indiana is literally 15 - 20 minutes from the worst parts of Chicago.They live their cause they want to.

The South Burbs is full of people tryna get away from that BS in parts of the city, the only hoodlums that get pushed to the south burbs are the ones who have housing vouchers, if not they just move to another hood in the south burbs thats a bit better than what they came from (Harvey, Ford Heights, etc)

The City is not slowly getting better. All they did was knock down the high rises projects and throw folks in other people hoods. A few new condos and developments here and there dont mean nothing if its the same ol ish on the next block.

Chicago and its Suburbs are nothing but areas with hot zones. Property is dirt cheap...almost cost nothing to buy in these hot zone areas which is why they stay populated. the other places were its safe....are expensive. You can live on one block and never have an issue and have a great community and drive a few lights down in be a warzone.

The Suburbs are the same...you can be in a middleclass suburb and drive over to the next town its the slums.

Black people in the hood don't value each others lives for the most part. I don't see poor white people just killing each other in those numbers, especially not just because "it's hot outside and kids aren't in school." That's the worst excuse I've ever heard and makes people from there sound like rabid animals.

This reminds me a few years ago there was a kid in Milwaukee that got killed from a stray bullet. There was a upcry and a candle light vigil from people in the neighborhood. Fast forward two weeks later on the same part of town a stray dog was lit on fire in an alley and survived. White people came from all parts of the city and suburbs to participate in a candle lite vigil for a fukking dog. It was on the news like it was some sort of big breakthrough. shyt was disgusting and a real eye opener. Don't act like Blacks aren't the only ones that don't value other Blacks lives.
