I don't think it's just going HD though. They changed the design to be really commercial. It used to be dark and gritty.
:patrice:Yeah I see what you mean by that, I remember RVD talking about the old ECW saying it used to look like rock concerts at times with all the dark colors and smoke

after seeing the ref bump the random thought of how much they get paid came to my mind

Referees in weekly events, such as WWE Raw, SmackDown and NXT can make $1,500 to $3,000 per week, or $150,000 on an annual basis. Referees for main events, such as Royal Rumble and King of the Ring, can make $3,500 to $4,000 per week, or $250,000 annually.
