I don't even think Charlo is more skilled. Never has been. Canelo probably knocks out everybody on Jermell's resume. Jermell isn't beating everyone on canelo's resume. The reason I see this being tough early is really because canelo doesn't look the same anymore. And charlo's athleticism and faster feet will give him trouble. But by the mid rounds I think canelo will start timing him and hurting him with counters. Then jermell is gonna get gunshy.
But If canelo has a flashback performance this could get ugly. The main difference will be defensively. Even at this stage canelo is very hard to hit. Caleb plant who has much faster hands than Charlo had a tough time landing clean on him. And Charlo tends to get hit a lot.

I agree 100%. Dude is a credible name in boxing. He ain't gotta like Bud and Bud clearly doesn't like him but he shouldn't go around saying shyt like that because it gives fans who were already in disbelief, something to try to hold onto.
Right after the fight was over, the father of PBC excuses, Wilder came out immediately and said something wasn't right with Spence and nikkas immediately ran with it. That's not cool.

I don't think he's coming back to 154 after this fight.
I felt it made sense to go down to 160 whether he wins or loses.
Only reason for 154 is a Bud fight but if Bud doesn't take Tim's WBO belt to make it be an undisputed thing then for Mell it isn't really 'needed' because this Canelo fight is his retirement payday lol. So he can really just get a 160 strap and chill.
