I think canelo will be focusing on speed and quickness in this camp. You can tell from the camp footage he's trying to be more agile. He knows that fukking with these faster and more athletic guys is way different than the bigger guys at 175. He's already got the power. He needs to match Jermell's speed above all.

Canelo finally got his signature win. Turned Smith into heavy bag work. Footwork regressed to Wilder status. Couldn't jab and maneuver his way around the ring to control Canelo. GGG did this in the rematch at only 5'10. Smith is damn near 6'4 and couldn't do that shyt to save his life. Could only fight in bursts. Backed up more than Taylor did against Winky, but never sat down and threw mean like Taylor did. Had it 117-111. Smith showed heart by hanging in there. Even landed a few good shots, but he ultimately caught that work.

Canelo didn't even gas so you know Smith didn't make him work hard enough for it. Canelo p4p 1 no question. This win was too big.

Lets get that Plant fight next.

Jermell is the perfect opponent for canelo at this stage of his career. If he's really washed jermell will show it. But I think canelo got a newfound motivation right now. September 30th canelo will come out victorious not because of his size but because of his skill. This final chapter of canelo's career gonna be monumental

This is a great opportunity for Mell. We know good fighters can jump 2 weight classes and knock off good fighters. Hopkins jumped 2 weight classes and beat Tarver.. Duran went up and beat Lenoard.
