I don't know if people understand the reason Benavidez fought that way.... Dirrell ran the whole fight. He had moments, but even he said his gameplay was to stay away from Benavidez.

David just was patient and you always gonna take a few hits coming in. He did what he was supposed to do and Dirrell was gonna get KO'd eventually. They threw in the towel... what y'all nikkas wanted? It was a good fight

I don't ever wanna hear anybody question the Dirrell bros heart anymore.

Dirrell is a fukking dog. Much respect to him. Good performance by Benavidez

Smith and Jacobs no, BJS and Plant yes
Smith uses his length better than him, more skilled imo and also has stopping power, I don’t see Benavidez having his way with him. We have to see Jacobs at 168 but I can see him boxing his way to a decision.

Can't say I was too impressed with Benavidez there. Plodding footwork, lots of following as opposed to actually cutting the ring off, and not capitalizing on the cut as much as he should have until the last round and a half.

A fighter closer to Benadivez' size with Dirrell's skill beats Benavidez. Just doesn't seem like an elite fighter in the making, in my opinion.
