Why is a guy that's not even in the company fighting for a chance to win the title? God damn.

They need something to keep Mox busy between now and his defense against Hangman Page on 10/18. Better to have someone from outside the company job to Mox instead of throwing Fuego del Sol or Kip Sabian in there.:yeshrug:

I don’t really mind that but Juice of all people seems random as fukk? Is their history between him and Mox? :patrice:

If you can't produce a viable opponent for him to wrestle on TV that's already in the company, then maybe he shouldn't be defending the title until Hangman then.

I, along with probably a majority of casual fans, have no god damn idea. I've barely ever saw Juice Robinson since he's not in the company, and there's no explanation on why he has this opportunity whatsoever.

One of only two people to beat him this year apparently. It's been explained on social media, they have a YouTube video up about it, and they will have a video package (I assume the same thing as shown on YouTube) about it tonight on Dynamite.

The video I posted earlier in the thread explains their history in New Japan.

a competitive match with an actual AEW contracted midcard guy would help that person more than watching Mox beat someone most fans watching at home have never seen. I mean it was only a few months ago AEW fans were having a circle jerk over how he made Wheeler Yuta an overnight celebrity Twista style

Like what was even point of crowning Mox again... MJF should of immediately cashed it in on Mox post match... Or better yet. Let him get some nuclear heat and cash it when it was vacant.

Why the fukk MJF didn't cash in when the title was vacant. Kayfabe wise... It makes no sense. He would of gotten the title by forfiet.

That makes zero sense. You cash in for a match for the title, not to have the title handed to you. You can't cash in for a match against a non-existing opponent.

That would of been the best troll move... Wait till right before Bryan and Mox... MJF comes and cash it in... And cancel the whole tournament final in one fell swoop.

It's immediatly forfeited. It makes plenty sense. You have a cash opportunity. There is no rule that there has to be a champion in place to cash it in. You cash in on the title not the person.
