Valdez needs to get rid of Robles and holler at Nacho.

I think it's funny to write off someone so good so young, but he does have some issues he needs to correct. D is obvious. Needs to change all his punches from fastballs to mixing it up, and needs to box more and brawl less, hence Nacho. Still a very good fighter just out of the prospect stage with a belt. I think he will turn it up against Frampton.

This. I think he and Nacho would mesh well. He will have problems against frampton's counter punching if he doesn't tighten up

Frampton and any othher 126'er is gonna have a tough time with his power. Even this random phillipino with a chin of granite got hit with a shot that KO's most fighters at the weight class, and it had no lasting affect. Breh had a chin of iron. But when Oscar fell back and boxed he did a lot better, it's just hard for that to happen I guess.

Well I watched the fight this morning, the 2 main fights were both good but neither of the 4 fighters impressed me that much...

I like Valdez and he had the performance of the night probably but if he wanna beat the likes of GRJ, LSC or Frampton he can't be this wild... There are some fighters who are wild af but still can be successful with it, but those are the Porter like physical dynamos who overwhelm you and outmuscle you and Valdez is not that type of a fighter, he doesn't physically overwhelm you he stands mid range/pocket and exchanges bombs.
I'd like to think otherwise but I think this level is the roof for him, I mean he still won comfortably but there are red flags and right now I don't think he could handle another level change.

On the other fight... well I'm still not that impressed by Gilberto Ramirez, if Hart would have been more aggressive from the outside he could even win this... I understood why Hart boxes from the outside because of his natural reach advantage but that doesn't mean he couldn't have been more aggressive. I mean there was him a guy with 18 stoppage wins out of 22 fights against a not particularly big puncher who had 24 stoppages out of 35 fights and he damn near ran sometimes... :hhh: I guess it had to do something with his chin being fragile... :francis:

I expect the WBSS winner to beat everyone else in the division, maybe except Benavidez IF he improves further cause he wasn't that convincing last time around. Jacobs would be a good addition to 168 cause right now it's pretty weak...

@Wise D'Angelo How was the experience live?

It was great breh:blessed:

I had floor seats. 2 rows behind the press. I saw fat dan:scust:, raging babe:noah:teddy and Bradley.

I'll say the place was 85% Mexicans in there. Didn't see nothing but a coupe of brothers.

Seeing a KO in person is :ooh::krs::huhldup::to:

Great atmosphere.

I walked up to Jesse Hart after the fight and told him good fight. He told me "wins and the losses it come with being bosses":wow:. Quoting meek mill but that's the song he came out to too.
He was basically just chilling solo looking defeated. I felt bad for breh :mjcry:. I felt his disappointment while talking to him.

Boxing is the GOAT sport.

Hopefully by the time i get back to the states I will be able to catch another one.

Valdez really ain't used to getting walked down. Everytime he's cornered he circle out to his right with his hand down. That how the the Asian dude knocked him down. Any other fighter would have been picked up on that and timed it even tho the Asian dude did catch him again doing the same thing IIRC.

I still think he has a good chance at beating anybody at 126.
