Not a bad show tonight.
The opening was kind of blah. Paul-E is enjoyable, but the others that joined him took the segment down several notches. It is what it is though, the final match of the night had to be set up so...
Sin/Rey vs Primo & Epico: Eh I didn't think the match was bad, I just wasn't enthralled with it. The beat-down from PTP was good, the aftermath of that however? Not so much. DY needs to just pick his hair, because when he got on the mic my first thought was
. Titus wasn't all that great but Darren? No Bueno.
Eve vs Beth was whatever. The story that they are trying to create with Layla & Eve is dumb. So Layla lets everyone know that Eve is a phony? Okay. Just really silly booking for a division that hasn't had legs for quite some time.
Slater vs Brodus
....
Yay! for Cameron keeping her job.
The MizTV segment was garbage, not surprising. Could care less if Ry & Miz start feuding, which seems possible. It will at least give Ry something more to do than just squashing randoms.
Dolph vs Santino was enjoyable for what it was. I enjoyed Vickie's actions at the end as well.
I didn't expect Wade's return to be how it was, but whatever. I prefer to see actual matches than just squashes- which is the route they could have taken.
The Subway segment was aight. Ryback's catchphrase worked in the segment, so good for him.
Kofi/Truth vs Kane/D-Bry was pretty solid. Kaniel for the most part are entertaining. For right now, I don't mind the whole 'I'm The Tag Team Champions' caterwaul, but I'll probably grow tired of it down the road.
Orton vs Tensai
The backstage segments with Punk & Paul-E were okay. I thought the last one with ADR and 'Tunga was decent. Otunga being another fall guy for ADR works. I mean its not like he's doing much outside of oiling himself up and leading J-Hud on about getting married.
I thought the Ryder vs Sandow match lasted a bit too long. I did enjoy Sandow's mic time at the start, and while Z-Ry spouted off that faux moxie, he had a nice showing tonight.
Punk/ADR vs Cena/Sheamus... eh, not bad at all. I wasn't looking forward to the match considering Juan & Sheam are both cut from the same cloth...
Meh. No one is expecting them to actually lose. The ending however, was garbage. Why Punk argued about a pointed toe on the bottom rope, as oppose to beating down the new ref was a silly way to end what was a decent show.

I must also say, while I am very happy that Lawler is doing better, I felt a slight bit of overkill regarding the situation. I don't want to sound harsh but that coupled with the Breast Cancer Awareness ads had me leaning on the fence.
As a woman who every October (especially) gives to the charity, be it a straight cash donation or me buying scarves, trinkets, sending in Yoplait tops et cetera I am all for spreading awareness to what is a very serious disease, I just feel that the E is being too heavy handed in the matter. Also considering what year it is some things make me wonder. Not knocking the effort, in fact I applaud it, but well I just hope that next year this aggressive campaign continues otherwise...
