WWE single handily made a whole generation nostalgic for shytty butt rock.

I don't remember ANY of the build up for this, The Invasion Era is so scatterbrained to me and I watched weekly and I just remember a lot of WWF guys fighting on the same side with WCW/ECW

Yup.

Mania 17 is special because it's the one time I could convince my mom to buy a PPV. I watched it with my aunt and my cousin. They marked out when Stone Cold won, but my Rock standom had me going to bed salty as hell.

I only got it because I had a Best Buy certificate that was about to expire & I traded in 17. They've made some improvements but the glaring complaint is shooting/CPU making all kinds of shots in the Arcadium
