I judge him off his totality. He throws punches in an amateur fashion and his defense only looks epic against head hunters.
I don't think he throws punches like an amateur generally. And Wilder has been known to be a headhunter at times. I've never thought Fury's defence was impenetrable, he got knocked down by Cunningham. Fury's good points are his reach, jab (normally), ringmanship, tactics, adaptability, heart, speed for his size, mind games and he's had a pretty good chin too. Not the hardest puncher but if he keeps hitting someone will hurt. His movement for his size makes him a tough opponent, if he boxes properly that causes an issue for most. 1 of his weaknesses is he's not the biggest puncher, if he had Wilder power he'd be almost unstoppable, but cause he doesn't he's beatable, best way to beat him generally is pressure and go for the knockout. Don't let him control the distance. Do think he's 1 of the top current heavyweights though, Wilder has some very good assets and is tough to beat too but most people thought he won that first fight which is an achievement, especially after the lay off. The rematch should be interesting, hope the cut heals well so it can take place.
