It just sucks they couldn't have delayed the ending until 02 when Rey, Goldberg, NWO, and Bischoff came in anyway. Biggest storyline in the history of the biz wasted

The thing about the storyline that's crazy is how well InVasion's buyrate was. I think to this day is the biggest non-WrestleMania buyrate in history at 775,000 buys. On the other hand, Survivor Series 2001 got 450,000 buys.

That to me means they got lapsed fans and WCW fans interested but in 4 months time, pissed them all away.
