As he should. Trying to revive a brand, he is very very lucky that Cody and them would even entertain this match and possibly carrying the belt around. They can thank Dusty for that, as Cody probably feels the need to in his heart.

To a degree, but the NWA Championship has been in and out of New Japan for years, as recently as the last few with Tenzan and Kojima both winning the title and defending it on NJ shows including Wrestle Kingdoms.
