I think the purpose of the card is to introduce new talented people who haven’t had an opportunity to shine to get a little shine.

I bet a lot of the unknowns are gonna use this spotlight as an opportunity to kill themselves and put on a memorable performance where you’re gonna remember their names after Sept 1

There's not a lot of unknowns though, this is an indy supercard with so far 1 standout match and a lot of filler or stuff you can find in any indy show every weekend. There's still a couple of matches left though, so who knows how it will turn out. Omega could be defending the IWGP belt (I doubt it though) and people might lose their shyt

I don't think it matters by the way, as mrken said the crowd will be lit and the matches will be fun to watch for the most part. The point of the show is more of a pat in the back and have a good time than "best show in the history of shows". But still, that doesn't take away the fact that the card is meh so far.

Trent and Chuckie T, that MJF guy, like 4 or 5 women, any of them could be in the battle royale

I remember that too. The Briscoe match could be a title match. I wouldnt be shocked if Omega put his shyt on the line. Hes going over either way.

Omega vs. Pentagon vs. Lethal would be cool. Omega better be pinning Pentagon and not Lethal tho

True.... I do agree you can see a lot of the Indy shyt any weekend. But you can also see a lot of KO or etc bigger named guy just as much and as of right now really everywhere all the time.

I’m intrigued with the Joey Janelas or Bandido..... or guys that everyone else may rave about and know who are not found every week on ROH, Impact, NJPW, or LU

We got enough of that with the Elite BC Guys, Pentegon, Fenix, Okada, The Briscoes, and etc.

Like I haven’t seen the Baby Pawg chick that cats have a thread on now and most cases I’m just not gonna go out my way to see a lot of the unknowns go like that.

But this is a chance for them to take the spotlight and educate fans like me in why I should follow them going forward.

I know what I’m gonna get from Jay Lethal and everyone else, and I’m pretty confident that Cody and Bucks are trynna get the best guys who can make an impact out there to be showcased since they have so much riding on this
