I considered copping tickets but I can’t justify spending 2k on it, plus traveling. If they ever tour the east coast though I’m #AllIn :ehh:

This is impressive and deserves praise though. Any competition is good competition and another promotion for fans to watch and guys to get paid in is a good thing

It does make you wonder. ROH Supershow sold 6000 tickets for WrestleMania weekend but the G1 Special can't even get half that amount?

Makes sense to me. If New Japan held a show at Mania Weekend it would sell 6k or even 8k easy.

The G-1 Special tickets came like 3 weeks after their core audience/ticket buyer had spent a lot of money at Mania Weekend. You add that to the fact that they've already held 3 shows in the US with none of them being "can't miss" nor a "show of the year" candidate. People weren't going to spend money on a show that has little novelty, specially with no card announced. AND you add the fact that people were waiting for the All In info and tickets to go on sale.

To be honest I was surprised they were mad they sold "only" 3,000 tickets given the context of it all. It seems they truly believe in the "King of Sports " shyt I like to troll about :heh:

If New Japan announces big matches for the Bucks and Omega they will sell more tickets.

Have they announced any matches for that one?
