I’m glad we got the win I wasn’t feeling the sense of urgency from the team but we turned up in a major way in the 4th. The inexperience and pressure was really seen with unforced TO’s from Ausar and Cade throughout the 4th. Tobias is from Long Island and tends to have some big games against the Knicks. This Detroit team is good though not to be slept on.

I was arguing with nikkas telling me Cade is better than Brunson :mjlol:
Cade is better than Brunson

How you gonna adjust to OG on Cade in the 4th after he been getting guarded by Mikal and Hart for the first three quarters, and OG ain’t tired cause he been guarding Harris and Beasley?

How you gonna adjust to KAT being the best big and Mitch being the second best big on the court?

How you gonna adjust to Brunson being the best player on the court?

How you gonna adjust to two ball handlers creating?
:comeon: OG was guarding Cade way before the 4th, and Cade actually got buckets on dudes, overall it wasn't no clamps type shyt, Cade missed a ton of bunnies he usually makes, adjustments will be made.

I'm just happy to be here :blessed:

Hopefully somebody can step up tonight, doubt Tobias stays hot two games in a row. We need more pure scorers

Was the 21-0 run an aberration or signs of a deeper problem?

I think the Pistons aside from that meltdown have to be generally OK with how G1 played out. They were up 8 with 9 mins left in the game in MSG. That run was caused by Bickerstaff blowing timeouts early so he couldn't stop the bleeding late(calling a timeout after you've already given up 15 straight points ain't it) and just a young team cracking a bit under pressure. If Stewart's leg is an issue, that's a problem. Harris will be worse, but Cade should be better tonight.

Exactly how I feel. Of course the team has flaws, they wouldn't be a 6th seed if they didn't. They need a scorer/playmaker on the court with Cade in the worst way. Each of the bigs has major flaws on opposite ends of the floor. Wings are young as hell and offensively inept atm. It is what it is. They still have managed to be effective enough to be where they are and be highly competitive. The issues they have are ones to be addressed in the off-season, not things to worry about during the playoffs. They gone do what they do with what they have now, and try and make up some of deficiencies with youthful exuberance, hellafied grit, and a budding star that they hope can ascend even higher as he experiences, absorbs, and adapts to situations from these playoffs. Pistons in 6!

detroit really collapsed. Allowed a 23-0 run

things went downhill after Ausar smoked that dunk.

What exactly does Brunson do better other than going to his left? Cade is playing with special attention and without a running mate
Brunson can’t be stopped. More shifty, better footwork, better finisher, better shooter, more counters. He’ll probably average a calm 30 against yall. Hands down one of the most unstoppable halfcourt scorers in the league right now next to Shai. His herky jerky style is a problem and he’ll probably be clutch player of the year.

It’s not as close as yall think either not something I even have to second guess. Brunson would put up monster numbers in Cade’s role playing P&R ball with a usage rate near 35%. Cade plays a slow, methodical, predictable no frills game. Honestly you’ll see this series there’s a gap between them.
