I just don't see MS getting rid of that GDDR3 and replacing it with 5. Unfortunately they kinda have no choice. Sony gave in to everything developers wanted.

All MS has to do is go with alpha specs like sony did. MS was hoping for DDR4 being ready(so was sony) but settled on DDR3 instead.

I can't imagine it would. They've got pretty much unlimited resources over there, they'll make it happen on-schedule. The problem will be reliability.
