One of my best friends is black and he is an upstanding individual. His younger cousins all call him "Banks" after the character "Carlton Banks" because he dresses well, talks proper, owns a beautiful home and has a near perfect life (except for his wife!) and is successful.

When we drive together into black neighborhoods he gets so quiet and shrinks in his seat. He is embarrassed but still rarely discusses it, even with me .

Me too. It was different then. Better. Blacks were friendlier. Now its like a cold civil war in this country.

The police seem to fear them. Giving them way to do as they wish. You don't see them around here during the day. Blacks are nocturnal in my town.

My middle class, educated, intelligent, normal, moral middle class black buddy sure will. She goes ballistic over Obama and that bunch. She is totally verbal about her contempt for him, and the destruction of true, decent black culture. I was dumbfounded the first time I heard her open up on him.

There are plenty who speak up, but you won't see them on MSM.

I don't think whites fear black people or even feel guilty about the atrocities, I think through white supremacy they've been able to get people to believe that black people must be destroyed. And they haven't been able to do that. It kills them that after centuries of being brought here by force that we're still alive, still here, still fighting regardless. That kills them inside. Damn bro, I live in Brooklyn as well, more of a middle class black neighborhood now but I was born and raised in Bed Stuy so I understand what you're saying. Bed Stuy is COMPLETELY different from when I was there. A lot of whites came and bought the brown stones. I still be in the area cause I have family there.
Sidenote: Jews stay coming to their house offering millions of dollars trying to get them out but they know the real value of the house....
Anyway, Im kinda surprised that you feel that way over there cause even though there are plenty of whites, the black people still walk around with a sense of entitlement, which they should, knowing that that is still THEIR neighborhood and surprisingly everyone seems to be getting along....
This is just my feeling when I go back there, for a person living there as yourself it could be different so I dont know.

Maybe it's because I'm not an nyc native and I'm originally from pittsburgh. I was born and raised there. Went to predominantly white private schools from kindergarten to college. FYI pittsburgh was voted one of the most racist cities in America and is home to the poorest black community in America as well. I grew up with a lot of those white interlocking hipster types that now flock to nyc. I see the vibe that's permeated there and that's why I'm officially just calling it quits with America once I get my money up. They don't care about diversity or different cultures...you see it when you can pass by tons of corner store delis liquor stores sneaker stores then pass by a gentrification era cafe where it seems only white people congregate at with their macbooks. They're fake. Since I've been living the majority of the people I associate with are other blacks and Spanish people. I literally get pissed off seeing white people in those parts cause I remember very vividly how they act when they're the majority and you're not.

They make me sick. Their society makes me sick. I stopped watching TV cause I was honestly sick of whiteness being shoved down my throat 24/7/365. The racism in nyc is deeply steeped in classism and it disgusts me. It disgusts me when I see nothing but black people on the street homeless begging for change/metro card swipes/etc...it disgusts me to see these neighborhoods get whiter and whiter. I was in Williamsburg on Monday and I honestly try to avoid that neighborhood...just filled with the most arrogant, moneyed cacs I've ever seen...trying to play like they're poor when they get parental subsidies and live on trust funds and inheritances...With no jobs at all.

This one time, I was at a waterpark working with this community art group (we were comissioned to do caricatures and face painting there for the kids)...this park was looking crazy ill so I was just looking around...all of a sudden this slack jawed yokel redneck white boy holding hands with his girl got all mad at me and looked like he wanted to kill me cause I thought he was checking his girl out when I wasn't even paying attention to them at all.

They are extremely paranoid and xenophobic. It wouldn't be an issue if their paranoia and xenophobia didn't get innocent black men killed.

Are you an avid weight lifter? Nothing strikes more fear and jealousy in a white dudes heart than a muscular black dude. I remember back in summer 2010 when I lost alot of weight and got more cut than ever, I was out with my 3 cousins(who are also pretty muscular because they were on a basketball team at the time). We decided to stop in this hipster CAC bar because the youngest one had a thing for white chicks.

As soon as we walked in, so many pairs of eyes immediately focused on us, we were like the 4 grains of pepper that got lost in the salt shaker.
