Doesn't really beg the question at all to me.
Fact of the matter is they were thugs, if someone doesn't want to give don't support them and move on.
There is a huge difference between voluntary action and actions taken under duress.
The Panthers were destroying black owned theaters and bars that didn't pay them protection money.
I don't know how you think but if you are going along the lines that you can do anything you want and all your actions are excused if you claim you are doing it for a good cause, you lost me.
Thats the same mindset that allowed the inhumanities whites committed to blacks, native americans, and all other non-whites across the world.

yeah i've heard about the Panthers started the free school breakfast program(which was surprising) and but wasn't aware of these other services they provide or that they were national
self reliance/ respect and empowering the community? no wonder they were public enemy number one of the Amerikkkan government
i imagine if the Black Panthers stayed true to their original principles, were allowed to grow/establish themselves in every black community and be an alternative to the joke that is NAACP not only would AA population much be more healthier/stronger but pigs would think twice before murdering unarmed blackfolk

I seen Juliani on tv mad about Beyoncé superbowl performance,talking about "How dare she dress up like the Black Panthers,who assasniated police officers".....He was quick to note how police officers killing unarmed black men were just "A few bad apples
".....and that we shouldn't come down on police for the actions of a few.Meanwhile he's quick to demonize the panthers,who if you do your research,you cant even call the ones who killed cops "bad apples" because for one thing the cops and FBI were assassinating them and people in their community....all is fair when war is declared on you....But even if he does believe the bad apple theory,how can he hold the black panther party which consisted of many groups across the country responsible as one group,for the murders of cops?But not the police?
Black panthers wasn't killing cops and going unpunished,actually the contrary,they were systematically being set up to be punished for crimes they didn't commit....along with violence against police that was started by informants within in the party,working on governments behalf,to ruin credibility of the party.
I hope with all this convo,media outlets would reach out to former Panthers and allow them to defend themselves against some of the narrative that's being pushed in ignorance,that they were just some violent group who hated cacs

Well, there's that and there's the fact that contrary to popular belief, the Black Panthers (the real ones) weren't racist.
They worked with White liberal groups like the Yippies and people like that all the time and had a White Panther party spinoff group and Richard Aoki, a Japanese American was one of their most prominent members.
They were socialists/communists, who weren't on that "kill whitey" shyt as much as they were on that "kill capitalism" shyt.
