Not even close.

Ridin Dirty is on of the greatest albums ever made

OTOTW wouldn't crack the top 10 albums made in '96

And I love Ball & G

"planet earth,is my place of birth.."
Dirty never fell off they stayed doin shows and undaground albums

let me rephrase: commercially their sales declined with every album after the pimp & da gangsta..in my opinion, the material wasn't as good either, once they left universal..maybe my expectations for them being the 2nd coming of ball & g shouldn't have been..

I don't know how you can put these albums up against each other..if I had to choose I'd say "ridin dirty" because that is ugk's opus. with no support from jive, they still managed to hold the south down, the old fashioned way..I don't think on top of the world was ball & g's best album, I'll give that to " on the outside looking' in". a better question might have been which is better, "murder" or "lay it down"? I like many other supporters can recite each word for word. altho ball & g's 3rd album had big name features and polished production compared to their previous efforts [favorite songs: pimp in my own rhyme, kick that shyt, top of the world and space age pimpin'] "on the outside looking in" had the energy flowing thru out the whole disc..and only one feature, mc breed [r.i.p.] on sesshead funk junky. every track was nice...much like "riding dirty" was to me.altho starting the album off with "one day" kind of threw me, the molotov cocktail of pimp c and no joe on production was a killer..a true concept album. if I had to pick favorites they would be murder, diamonds & wood, good stuff, 3 in the morning

in my opinion, these are 2 southern rap legends and 2 MUST HAVE albums in your collection.
i disagree. On top of the world is light years better than On the Outside looking in i think . T-Mix elevated them

From a quality standpoint, this era was the south at it's best.

Cats had intelligent rhymes and they weren't mumbling all over the fukkin album.

Raise a fist in the air and bump "All In My Mind", especially when Mr. Mike start kickin shyt
