For all of Loma's skills i do believe it's mainly his natural power that bails him out. Now there's nothing wrong with that, you've got to use every advantage you're blessed with. However it does make me wonder if he can go up to 135 and especially 140 without immediately getting walked through and stopped. Maybe stay at this weight class and dominate?

So either Loma has lost a step, or Campbell is better than folks gave him credit for. Which one?
Campbell was more or less around Linares level plus hes a rangy lefty which makes it harder for Loma who does his best work on the inside. The recipe to annoys Loma is basically to fight tall and rough him up and then clinch when he manages to close distance to negate his work. Its a passive gameplan but its the safest and even then Loma may score a KD still. But at some point there will be some openings to counter him while hes closing the distance. I think Campbell found a couple this fights, Pedraza too but it was different circumstances.

I really want to see a Commey fight now more than a Teofimo one tbh. I feel like Commey reach can be a bigger factor than Lopez counter attacking skills though both of them are rigthies.

Damn judges had it as a wash for Loma. It wasn't particularly close, but definitely not that wide :unimpressed:

Campbell did well and put on a good performance, latter stages Loma took it to him and him in trouble.

It wasn't close to me.

Not a dominant fight but the fight Loma had to fight in order to win decisively, which isn't always dominate or entertaining, but this is boxing, this is chess.

& When he did get in there he hurt him and put him down.

I don't think Tank has a chance.

ok once again..thanks to espn+ on my droid i was able to watch on it on my way rhode island..just couldnt talk about it in real time

anyways the fights i watched from there

buatsi is still raw...he still needs to develop a little bit more..but the body shot he landed on dude to ger rid of him was beautiful

:laff: at the fukkery in the martinez-edwards fight...martinez had that fight won BUT he should have been DQ'ed because he laced dude with a liver shot on the ground..edwards was very lucky they overturned that shyt (the situation that led to that is still a little :patrice: but :manny:)..edwards rematches that guy and he will get ko'ed again

:camby: to hughie fury...who is even more struggle filled than his idiot cousin tyson..dude is horrible to watch...holding and clinching galore...povetkin tried but he kept getting tied up...but i dont feel sorry for hughie...dude is on his bullshyt when he fights and he lost again

lomachenko vs campbell was a very good technical fight to me...luke was shaky baby in the last 2 rounds..esp the round he went down in..i thought the fight was a little too wide on the cards..i scored it 116-111..i guess commey will be next for all the belts..if he wins

True indeed and a bit reckless at times. But I think he can catch Loma closing in and he's more powerful than Campbell with around the same reach. I'm not sure Loma was hurt at some point but Campbell managed to sting him with a left hook in the second half and it looked like he was buzzed and a to take some time to recuperate a bit.
