JJ does need a character that's a bit deeper than being Kurt's son. I'd say have him cut promos but his voice didn't do him favors in the Miz segment, so have Kurt get him a manager, deck him out in ice and Versace and play him up as the next "Big Thing". Have him watch some Flair & Rick Rude wrestling to see how to be smug in the ring and go from there.

They should have used the old soap opera formula where the long lost kid hates their newly found parent and while the kid is being an ass the parent tries over and over to have a good relationship with the little b*stard.

So Jordan should have started out angry at Kurt and started wrestling as a heel eventually getting to the point where Jason put hands on Kurt to cement his total heel status.
Of course all of that would work better if they had someone to speak for Jordan since the dude has almost no personality.
