That wasnt a heel turn at all. It was an attempt to keep Roman on an upswing of good will. They know ppl like him best with The Shield. It's another sleight of hand with Braun as a pawn for a second night.

As a fan you have to evaluate if you're in for the ride and entertained, or if you feel manipulated by it. Because it's just the latest flurry in the combo to get everyone on board with the Big Dog.
All this is second rate to the good stuff on Smackdown tomorrow anyway.

Zelina..Almas
Bryan and Miz with Maryse and Brie involved..mixed match maybe
Styles is doing a promo
Tag title no dq rematch if Rowan isnt too injured
And Becky's explanation.

Roman comes out next week and says the Shield will make sure Braun will cash in like a man face to face.

That's cool and all. :ehh:

But I don't need to hear another damn word about Roman vowing to be "the most fightingest champion in the history of the title" only to get your brehs to help you run a fade when Braun decides to put your boast to the test when you aren't ready, despite the fact you were told the cash-in was coming ahead of time.

Technically, the honorable thing for Roman's character would have been to wave off the Shield and accept Braun's cash-in as a 'fighting champion.' You would have accomplished the same thing with the same attack post-match had Braun won but tried to go too far on some I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU shyt, and probably would have gotten people on his side.

Ah well.

Yeah, I'm not sure what it means to cash in face to face.

I gotta make it a triple threat match for it to count :dwillhuh:

Everyone that's held the belt has to deal with the guy holding the money in the bank contract potentially cashing that shyt in whenever they're in the ring with a ref nearby.

Shield protection makes sense because it allows for the Ambrose heel turn on Rollins down the line.

But goddamn if the commentators pushing the fact that the bell didn’t ring doesn’t just wash away whatever power the MiTB had.

I know we got a glimpse of it with stupid refs during Carmella’s run, but now they’re just making excuses as to why someone with a briefcase can’t actually cash in when they want to cash in. fukking stupid.

And on the contrary, the honorable thing for Braun to do would be to cash in for a triple threat in the main event, or to say he is cashing in next week. I really don't see a difference between a heel cash-in immediately after the bell and Braun cashing in 1 minute after instead. Dude still already had to wrestle a whole match before you.

Alot of things could have been executed better, but they are doing some form of a storyline at least, so not gonna harp too much.

That's what you are supposed to do with your n°1 guy though. Protect him and put him in a position to succeed (whether it's to be a face or a heel).

What they did yesterday and today are no doubt desperate attempts but for once they are doing shyt that works, which couldn't be said for the last 2 and half years of Roman's 3 year "chase".

Exactly, this makes roman look "cool" he has a group of friends that is down no matter how different the directions their careers are going. This makes him look like a legit threat to hold the title for a log time cause now you know he has backup and correct me if im wrong but has the Shield as a collective EVER taken a L? they have beat up everyone at some point. Very good way to end raw, I did not expect that at all. Also lets not overlook the job they did making it look like Finn was actually going to win, they made him look great.

Wait, someone explain to me how it wasn’t a heel turn lol

I’m not being condescending, I legit haven’t seen it yet. But from what I read, Braun cashed in, Shield came out and jumped his ass. Left him slumped..

How are them nikkas still babyfaces

I'm confused. Bayley didn't turn heel? Becky didn't turn heel? Shield isn't heel? :pachaha:

Not that it matters. Roman is infinitely more interesting with his Shield brehs. But this might be a disservice to Seth who was fine on his own.

They fukked up with Becky and Bailey I have know idea why they have them still steaming up or why they gave them that awful name. until the women get their own show with a tag title or atleast have them cross brand with a tag division its pointless, and all it does is allow them to get more women on the card each night.

Becky situation wasnt a heel turn cause instead of turning Charlotte which makes the most sense they choose to protect her cause she is their chosen one. they cant write a story to make becky look bad right now cause she legit deserves the title right now and Charlotte does not. this was done so she can have the belt as their top woman with Ronda at the all woman ppv. Vince is so old school with his way of handling who should be the top star its ridiculous.. the idea is fans want them ( I understand rousey) to be the face of the division since they are blonde and physically bigger than everyone else

Was thinking Lashley along with another guy but I fukks with the AOP idea. AOP along with fukk shyt Up Braun :lupe:

they need to stick Heyman with AOP and let them run the tag division. Braun better call that kid back, since thats his only friend.

Damn after watching it, y’all right. The commentators didn’t treat it like a heel turn.

Yall are making up shyt now, no one said this was or should have been a heel turn. Without being online and in the know, Braun never turned face in my opinion. He has always not given a fukk who "gets those hands" so just because he got beat up that doesnt make him face.

First off this was done to get roman cheers, everyone knows he is the most over when associated with the shield.
Second, Braun was going to cash in 1. after roman had a tough match and 2. after he just won the title last night and 3. after braun kicked him back down before they was about to ring the bell. The shield saved Roman from a unfair situation, the power bomb was for nostalgia.
If I hadnt come here I would have never thought that this could be viewed as a heel turn

:ohhh: they need to hire you. Then you can have the shield chase after the braun and the championship

So they're gonna get everyone on board with Roman by having him and his crew beat up the monster babyface, whom he's obviously heading into a feud with now... how, Sway?
