Josh got ate up by the head movement, feints, and footwork. Granted, there aren't many heavyweights who can keep the pace like Usyk, but my god it was like watching someone dangle a ball of yarn in front of a cat all night.

In terms of classic boxing skills there were levels of difference. AJ is a good, quick learner but couldn't catch up to Usyk's experience

i got AJ I think he will have a better game plan. He definitely has to come forward and cut off the ring better and move his head off the line. USKY has great footwork and the left down the pipe was landing. He feints well and counters well. It’s a tough task I think AJ gets it done but he gotta bite down on that mouth guard and take it to him man. CANT WAIT :damn:

Can't defeat a great amateur like Usyk by trying to apply an amateur approach, that's like a home-field advantage for Usyk. Rather make it a dog fight. The problem for AJ is he isn't exactly comfortable in dog fights either, his defense falls apart whenever in the pocket, and gets hit with a flush shot. Robert Garcia might just be the right man to improve on this though so I like AJ's choice.

Do you think the first fight he had with Andy Ruiz made him scared to use his power and let his hands go because he's scared to get countered?
