It was a good show.

Gargano/Almas was excellent (my little Rosita had me :noah:), Asuka/Moon was very good, Roode/Drew was good (Drew showed OUT), Itami/Black was a bit slow but solid. Tag match sucked, but I'm not a fan of Sanity or AoP in the first place.

I'm indifferent to the ROH/NJPW indy darlings showing up and going nWo on NXT's champions, but I'll give them a chance.

So who we thinking for callups after tonight?

The one person I feel is a lock is Itami. He's probably headed to 205 to face Tozawa.
Authors of Pain and Itami are most likely for me. Wouldn't be surprised if any of Roode, Asuka and Ember Moon moved up either

Did we just witness the top 3 wwe woman's match since "the revolution"
There hasn't been a match in the main roster in that time frame that could compete with any of the takeover Brooklyn matches.

Tonight is no exception.

Asuka sold that match ending.

Is she gonna relinquish the strap undefeated?:sadcam:

I think AoP needs more time in the oven. I'd call them up after the Dusty Classic/Next Takeover at the earliest.

For the women, I could see them calling up Asuka, Moon, and Peyton/Billie. Moon feels like a long shot since they seem to be building up to her having at least one title reign. The Iconic Duo aren't quite there in the ring yet, but their act is money. Plus, Nia, Alexa, and Carmella all weren't there yet when they were drafted, and they're doing fine.

Roode should go up (to Smackdown preferably), but I could see him sticking around a bit while they establish Adam Cole. Plus, you know former champs always lose twice on the way out.
Roode, Asuka, AOP, Itami and maybe a No Way Jose
I could see No Way going up. :ehh: There's nothing really left for him in NXT. Just hope he winds up more like The Drifter and less like Tye.

Itami vs AJ for the US title :ohhh:

That could be hot. But I just feel like Vince is gonna want Itami to add some more star power to 205.

Yeah but they would be a good fit on Smackdown. New day has no heels to go up against once they're done with the Usos, unless they elevate the Ascension, but no one is going to take them credibly. Hype Bros and Breezango are faces. Usos are basically the only heel team on the show.

Asuka has clearly been watching ZSJ in the G1 Climax, she did a lot of that twisty bendy joint manipulation to get over the storyline of working Embers injured shoulder. She even used his Octopus hold.
