The story of KENTA: wrong time - always. He came in and got overshadowed by someone else taken from a Japanese promotion that he was honestly a better worker than, but stuck hamstrung by his moveset being limited. Gets a chance to finally use the things he made famous once the two co-opters were gone... goes down with an injury. Watches from the sideline while Finn out here winning titles and dancing around in paint. Gets better just to get hurt again, and watch more people from Japan come in and... light the world on fire. He finally comes back just to end up being a bootleg version of the position he trailblazed in the company, and likely wrestle his last match on NXT with the better-version-of-himself front row center. Hideo never having sniffed a title, and likely to get tossed to 205 Live while at some point this year, Shinsuke is gonna be holding up that black-and-gold.

The man that inspired the two biggest stars in this company 5 years ago enough for them to take all his shyt can't even get a win against late-career Undertaker's 'best pure striker' character fallacy turned into a sentient entity and dragged through every European tattoo shop on the way to the ring.

I feel bad for dude. Enough that I'll even watch a replay when he debuts on TNAGFW. But just the one. And I can't promise I won't be playing Shinsuke's entrance music while I watch it.

Main events were the paroit and some guy I never heard of vs the beverly bros under a different name, Larry zbysko vs masa saito and their combined ages were like 110
