Using a legal strategy first devised by Philip Zelikow and the Southern Poverty Law Center in the 1980s, former prosecutor Mary McCord and her team at Georgetown Law School sued the groups that came to Charlottesville on behalf of the city on the basis of a centuries-old state law against armed “unauthorized militias,” citing the guns, clubs, sticks and other weapons the demonstrators carried. Most of the groups that came to Charlottesville last year are now barred from ever returning to town in groups of two or more bearing any sort of weapon. McCord’s team is also training other cities in how to disarm groups before they even come to town, restraints that have dampened white nationalist enthusiasm for large public gatherings.

I peeped game a while back. The media is still the media, even your trusted sources.

I used to think pbs newshour was immune from the bs, because they pride themselves on being very center and even slightly favoring the left at times, but I've caught them in too many situations where they puppet the cop narrative as gospel, despite me witnessing the event on unfold on Twitter in a different way. They typically get 90% of the story right but they always seem to praise a pro cop / white supremacist narrative. Just stay woke to the news that you consume. Read and indulge in the stories with the expectation that there is a slight deviation in the story line.

Unite The Right organizer admits to living with parents, gets yelled at by dad during live stream

Apparently, the “fatherland” is not as sympathetic as he expected.

A notorious neo-Nazi rally’s organizer was caught on tape being scolded by his daddy for using his parents’ bedroom to livestream his hate.

Jason Kessler, who concocted last year’s deadly Unite The Right rally, was talking anti-Semitic conspiracy theories with his neo-Nazi pal Patrick Little when his dad busted in the room and started yelling at him, video shared on social media shows.

“Hey! You get out of my room!” Kessler’s father can be heard shouting. “I want this to stop in my room, Jason, this is my room.”

Kessler tried to downplay the situation, but eventually admitted that he lives at home and his parents don’t agree with his extreme world view.

“My family watches American History Channel and its constant anti-German propaganda,” he sniffed.

Kessler is fending off lawsuits over the white supremacist rally he held in Charlottesville, Va., last year that turned deadly when one of his ilk rammed a car into a crowd of counter-protestors, killing innocent 32-year-old Heather Heyer.

“I’m stuck in a situation where I have to stay with my family because I’m paying for all these lawsuits and I can’t afford to do that without staying with my family. They’re cucked,” he said, using an abbreviation for “cuckold” that has become a favorite pejorative among alt-righters.

These life long losers really are the embodiment of every stereotype you think about when you envision internet alt-right trolls. I actually find solace in knowing that they must hate themselves almost as much as they hate everyone else.

There is a clear pattern of behavior here consistent with ill-intent.

I'm not even saying this as a conspiracy theory, but these organizations have fact-checkers. They have direct lines to some of the most prestigious historians, political scientist, and sociologist in this country. If they wanted to do better, they could do better. To write and print a piece like this is completely irresponsible.
