:gucci: This is a great deal for Philly

Brogdon is efficient, can hit the 3, can pass the ball and he can play defense

health is the only concern, but Brogdon would be great with Philly since they already have two main scorers in Embiid and Tobias

Health alone is enough to say no to the deal especially when you're already contending with Embiid's injury history. You would legit have some nights where neither player would be suiting up because of injury.

Low key they should take it.

To put into perspective how bad Simmons is:

Even with his vaunted defense, Trae Young still adjusted and averaged 30 points that series. When you combine that with Simmons's horrific offensive play (including game 6, where his numerous missed free throws aided in them blowing that lead as he couldn't score), you could argue that sthey were better off not even playing him. Letting go of Simmons is addition by subtraction in the playoffs.

Like, literally just replacing him with a guy that can score on the outside, even if they are not that great at it, is fine. Doing that will help the floor spacing dramatically, make it easier for Embiid (and he'll turn the ball over less), and help the team late in games preserve leads (as you can't play Hack Simmons).

Exactly did people forget Morey snagged both Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook, that folks were saying had untradeable contracts? And then eventually trading them for one another :russ: I will never count him out, he’s a top 5 gm hands down.
This maybe true but again we talking about Benjamin button here who refuses to shoot the ball and can’t shoot to save his life.. What GM you know going to give Morey equal or more value for Ben? All them GMs going to low ball the fukk out of Morey

He got lit up on defense and was unplayable on offense :wow:

Every player on the Hawks ate against Philly

But I understand Philly not taking an offer this early

bet money we do. It'll likely be a multiple team deal tho.

Brogdon, CJ type deals can be done anytime...they are the floor. Somebody will get caught being desperate and bite

Why do y'all think this? Everyone thinks he's broken including y'all. Why would someone give up an all star caliber player for a HUGE project?

Because the Coli isn't in tune with his actual value.

Ben Simmons falls apart in the playoffs.

Philadelphia is focused on "falls apart"

Teams who want Ben are focused on "in the playoffs."

I think he can create a 3-4 team deal that way everybody gets something. It’s gonna be hard to do a deal straight up with Ben as the centerpiece.

His play isn't the problem. His injury history is. You already have Embiid who has a notable injury to contend with, so why would you bring another player who is just as injury prone if not more?

I think this is the nature of the game, players get hurt more but Brogdon and Embiid's games would benefit each other and lighten each other's loads.

Morey & Rich working them phones

Malcolm Brogdon ain't leading you to no damn championship... Sixers know that and this is why that deal was rejected..

On another note..if true this does at least let us know that Malcolm is available... My bulls desperately need to get a PG:mjcry:
