Asking Horford to play the 4 was always a stupid idea so I am not sure why Sixers thought it would work. Should have tried to trade him, will probably do so in Summer

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
That's not a good look for Elton. Gave Horford a 100 million dollar retirement package and Tobias contract is:scust:
But when I said they needed to hire a GM with actual experience, I was called out for c00ning..

Fire Sam Hinke brehs :mjcry:

Brand took 5 first rounders and turned it into Fultz and 250 million in two bum ass nikkas

I’m just glad casuals who don’t watch the Sixers are finally catching on that Horford with Embiid was the main issue

I personally wanted reddikk gone. He was a "hot" and cold shooter, he clearly was diminishing at his age and his defense was a major deficit. If you watched him in key moments of close games, he became a total liability. He's one of those great shooters, where he can make everything or miss everything on any given night and cause major problems on D.

people who constantly bring up reddikk probably never watched sixers games and probably don’t watch pelican games now
You can’t have a guy that bad on defense starting in a series, constantly getting switched on. On nights where his shot wasn’t falling he was a major liability

Wasn't a big part of this intended to take away the C's main defender of Embiid and to fill in for Embiid when needed? I mean, yeah $100 mil is rather steep for schedenfreude and a back up but it's not like this was supposed to be a big 3..was it :patrice:?

he was embiid biggest nemesis in the east and he played giannis “well” in the playoffs, I feel like those two reasons were hyped more than him backing up embiid when the signing was first announced

I liked him in Boston and wanted him to stay. Still wish him well.

I liked him in Boston but definitely didn’t want to re-sign him. There was no way he’d live up to the latter part of that deal. Surprising to see the wheels fall off so quickly tho.

Why would they spend $100M to neuter a team that wasn’t even the best in the conference? :mjlol:
