What a waste of time, with a standard 8 hour workday she spent 19 years of her life actually doing work, another 19 years or so were spent sleeping.

I dont think anyone in here is below the poverty line...
... and more than a few(myself included) are doing quite well I'm sure.

Most people I've known don't know or even want to know how to budget money and save for the future.
hard to budget when your graduating school already saddled with big debt and lucky to get a starbucks barista job
Niqqa some of us have savings accounts and dont need to stay up all night on payday waiting for the money to be deposited into our accounts. We off that check to check sh*t.
I remember those days tho.

This is why I feel that the economy isn't going to get better for a while. A LONG while. The current economy gives employers all the power. It's better for them to not create new jobs because they can just over work the employees for little pay cuz they know that their employees can't quit or look for work elsewhere.

Its moreso work hard when your supposed. being at work for endless hours doesnt mean your at work working hard. it means they have you wasting time and believing thats hard work. its bullshyt. then you just go home and go to sleep wake up do it again to live the struggle life.
im not gonna sit here and lie on the coli. i live paycheck to paycheck. i make decent money some months others i dont (sales straight commision). i prob spend outside my means. but the things i get make me happy long term and short term. if i saved more money what would i be doing.

even if their employees quit, a posting for even a crappy job you will get like 300 resumes.
I remember at my work a contract for 6 months paying like 13 bucks a hour just doing data entry was posted, and my sup said there were like 300 resumes she had go through, folks with thier bachelors, masters, 20 yeasr of job experience were applying.
i live paycheck to paycheck as well
, im hoping to start working from home or finding a job closer so i can just get rid of my car as its my major expense att he moment but i need it to get to work, as the bus would take me like 2.5 hours

deciding what to go to grad school for (because its not only about money but doing what i want which im honestly not sure about what thatis) and actively applying other places
edit: i didnt want any of what i said to come of as me feeling sorry for myself. but i just feel if i save more money i wont be able to enjoy my "hard work" (im not poppin bottle or any of that but doing things that appease my tastes)
