thats the world. everyone thinks they're smarter than the next person and operating on some higher level of existence

but it does depend on what you mean by smart. I know there things i am well versed in that the average coli member isn't. And i know there are alot of things i have no clue about.

Intelligence manifests in many forms, thats why its hard to measure. But, a smart person knows to never brag about their smartness because there is always someone who knows something you don't, and thus, you can learn from.

How Will We Get Off Mars?

It's expensive as hell, even the one way trip is far too expensive. You need a separate ship that will land before the people get there, it will gather fuel either from the thin atmosphere from Mars or its resources which is projected to take over 10 months. Now that is all just theory, not even accounting for the fact that the conditions on Mars are much more harsher than our own planet. That is why the idea of dropping people off on Mars and leaving them to survive is a better idea but you need people who are willing to throw their life away. Basically what Elon Musk is trying to do, except he is charging people the cost of your average home to do so. I don't know what is going on with that 1 way trip to Mars that was planned years ago.
