So I'm supposed to believe less than 20% of the population has an unfavorable opinion of the police :childplease:

Entire poll is right-wing cap :camby: they're probably only polling white people or something

Of course we keep hearing Israel controls America. How US politicians are bought and paid for by Israel. Global homo Jewish lizard conspiracy etc.

However if we remove ourselves from the eternally online bubble we see the majority of Americans are pro-Israel and fairly militantly so.

Majority of Americans are also extremely opposed to Iran

The reality is Biden and the rest of the democrats are moderates compared to the average American when it comes to Hamas and Iran.

We all know its more nuanced than what is told in the mainstream.

What do you expect when people have heard about tales of Pearl Harbour and then watched 9/11 happen. And more recently watched Russia go into Ukraine. Of course they are going to side with Israel.

This is just an exercise in how poll questions are asked.

Even if you believe Palestinians are being oppressed, you're not gonna argue the current round wasn't kicked off by the 7th.

The 57% is where Biden is struggling, because a large portion of the 57 would vote for any jackass in a red tie over Biden.

and they can't even explain what the point of it was

what the fukk did Hamas accomplish on Oct 7th, besides getting thousands of their own people killed in retaliation?
Look at Israel’s reputation before Oct 7th and now. Then ask yourself what Hamas accomplished.

And now I’m not defending their means. But their accomplishments are obvious.

At the end of all this it’s likely that Palestinians will achieve official internationally recognized statehood, which can be leveraged to engage in real dialogue about establishing a sovereign state. That said, it’s not always easy to make that move into sovereignty as we have seen in other parts of the world. Many times the governments that take over are incompetent at best and corrupt at worst. Still statehood is statehood and will be a huge achievement if that happens.

But again, look at Israel’s international reputation before Oct 7 and now. That’s the real war.

If it ain’t HAMAS, who will fight for the Palestinian’s? Would it have been any different if they were called by something else? How would the Palestinian’s defend themselves against Israel from becoming a permanent underclass?

I don’t see any other alternative for the Palestinian’s. The two state solution is out of the question for them.
Exactly. A lot of folks want to have this conversation without properly integrating understanding of historical fact combined with human psychology. How many terrorists come from countries that weren’t oppressed/suppressed by the West? What do humans do after having someone else’s foot on their neck and they’ve exhausted all nonviolent options? They fight back. For survival. It’s just basic human psychology when applied to the politics of oppression.

That said, terrorism is always awful in that it usually harms more innocent people than representatives of the state the terrorists want to destroy. That is to say that Hamas was brutal and savage in their actions. And it’s my belief that they knew Israel would respond the way that they have, by slaughtering Palestinian civilians. So then it must be surmised that Hamas was willing to sacrifice tens of thousands of their own people for their cause…which is abominable. But maybe they think the sacrifice is worth it because Israel’s global standing has been harmed almost irreparably and many other western powers, and potentially the western power structure as a whole, has caught a wasps nest worth of strays in the process.

But then there’s also the part where Israel has been secretly supporting Hamas for years and years. One has to ask—why?

I certainly don't support Israel in this war.

I haven't been contacted for a poll about anything ever. I really wonder where they get this stuff from.

Who gives a fukk about 9/11? It's 2024
Never Forget

Americans see all those Arab extremist organizations as the same thing. If they are suicide bombing Israel they'll do the US again. You don't get to blow up the WTC and everyone forgets about it

Christians are convinced that:

1. These european jews are the isralites from their fairy tales book.

2. They need to be in that geographical location for Jesus to come back and kill everyone.
