It makes me wonder.

It's a unique situation. It's a 100% lock he's going to the Spurs, but he is still playing in the French league Playoffs. Do the Spurs tamper and be like "slow down on his minutes:birdman: We'll give your team a lil money"

He with the right coach to have a long career......looking back Kawhi ain't really get injury prone until he left San Antonio. Tim and Robinson and TP and Manu lasted forever in the league.
Breh, Kawhi literally broke down in SA. Did you miss all the drama surrounding his quad injury that ultimately was the cause of him leaving the Spurs?

He is a taller playmaking better defense version of KD

Its quite marvelous to witness. Never seen someone that tall move so fluid on the court

That was towards the end of the run with him. He was there for 6 years before that without anything major that I could remember outside of Zaza undercutting him. He was cooking with no issues until the 2017 playoffs. That was the year GS was supposed to lose because he was giving us hell in that 1st game. He had 26 points in like 20 minutes or some shyt.

7 foot 5 nikka with handles who can do between the legs dunks and block 3 POINTERS

Drafted to a team who drafted David Robinson...Tim Duncan...Kawhi Leonard...and then tanked EXACTLY ONE TIME to draft Him

:bryan::bryan::bryan::bryan::bryan::bryan::bryan::bryan::bryan::bryan::bryan:

Pop that one time you tanked who did you draft?

Tim Duncan :pachaha:

Pop didn't you tank one more time? Who'd you draft that time?

NBA 2k create a player with height handles and blocks set to 99 :pachaha:

So did the game pass Pop by or was he just light years ahead :ohhh:

He's already 230.

:dwillhuh: the controversy over how to deal with his injury is why they parted ways

The nikka was healthy for 6 full years before that. You realize that, right? That's the longest streak of good health he's ever had. Think about what you just said. They parted ways because he wanted to handle his injury differently and look at Kawhi's health since that disagreement. If he listened to them instead of his doctors maybe he wouldn't be so brittle.

And the Spurs were 100% right in that situation in retrospect
I don't disagree, I'm just saying his issues didn't start elsewhere

Okay well he was still on the Spurs. You can't say he was only injury prone upon leaving them when his issues started in San Antonio and was the catalyst for him to leave.

I don't remember what side was saying what about his knee but the diagnosis was degenerative so he'd be dealing with the same issues regardless of where he went. He's one of the vanguards of modern load management because he had to be.

If you are poor and not athletic, how do you afford all the stuff giant people need?
