Imagine callin me a casual when i hooped in college for 3 years.. while you still clickin that keyboard. :mjlol: You a 'take my ball and go home' type cat. Been that way for years. So I'll stop giving you the attention you seek.

He's 16.

:hubie: I never said I approved or disapproved of the way the game is played.

How many players with his frame have you seen bulk into a decent size?

Fair enough. But that doesn't mean he cant excel. Look at KD. Giannis is the exception, but he was thin too. Porzingas is thin but is skilled.

I dont think people need to be diesel in order for them to be good. No ones sayin this cat is gonna own the league.. we're just sayin he's got a damn good skill set already for only being 16, and that tall/thin, with that coordination.

Nah I don’t see it. When you look at these physically imposing youth players you have to think about how they’ll project when they can’t out size, out strength or outrun people. This kid is too slow to play on the perimeter in the league. Mid post and in only, but he will have to be a face up player because he won’t have the weight to hold deep post position comfortably. And given his skinny bones, I doubt he’s going to be able to iso effectively in the league. He might be a nice complimentary piece but I would NEVER build around a kid who is that tall, that skinny and that slow. Like @CHICAGO said he missed a couple dunks in that clip at that height with nobody around him. I’d be concerned about that. I’m not impressed by a shot and rudimentary handles since every kid can shoot and handle now. The question is can those things translate and I don’t see it with this kid.

It’s easy to dominate when the kids you’re playing against are scared just based on your physical profile.

I will just go ahead and be a hater on this one...I will believe it when I see it with him. He will have to put mass on as he ages he's too thin....But him putting on mass would likely change his game. I'm not sure about him but who knows by the 2023 draft the NBA could just be all 3's all the time.

That's your opinion.. its all good.

But didn't they say the same about KD back when he was at National Christian Academy? And then Oak Hill? And then Montrose Christian? And the Texas? Dudes dont need to be ripped and swole to be dominant, or successful. This kids got a good skill set. Anyone that argues that (not sayin you said that) is being dishonest with themselves.

They don't have to be but even those dudes carried more weight for their frame. KP is the same height and coming at 230 we were concerned about him. KD 6'9" 215.

You aint wrong. :manny:

We're gonna have to see if the kid works on his game and his body. He's only 16.

There's skill there tho.

But many do, especially when they're playing at a position where it's damn near a requirement. KD is the outlier. Everyone else better put in that work at Planet Fitness.

In today’s nba you might as well call him the next Duncan. He doesn’t need size and he’ll obviously get bigger.

While he’s def more KP than KD… I think he can be better than KP which would make him a future perennial all star/mvp candidate
