I think as a coach Pop has probably overstayed at his position. But I would love for him to remain with the Spurs as a consultant or executive. Even if I don’t agree with his tactics on the floor anymore, he is invaluable as a teacher and mentor. Not just for basketball but helping people in life.
If that #1 draft pick was on the market, how many star players would be off the table to acquire it. Off the top of my head
