So other women are better at finding partners...cool so why are you having this discussion if your mind is made up. I don't get it....according to you black women regardless of socioeconomic status don't know how to pick men. Regardless, of evidence of the contrary.
So why bother at this point.
because you all will run with lies if no one is there to smack it down.

you can go back to pretending you are all searching for a young obama.

For all the black female posters...for those trying to reason @mamba and @Wild self @Emperor_ReinScarf you will not win for losing. Focus on youselves and attract men who respect you and that you can grow with to become the best of yourself. @GiGi it needs to be said again very good post. Do you mentor young black girls btw, thats something im interested in doing but I feel like im a little too young and inexperienced at the moment.
Have you heard of black girl code? And whats your thought of the curly nikki backlash?

Yes, I mentored young black and Hispanic girls (ages 9-13) when I was in LA. Those young ladies were like sponges are were very hungry for positive adult role models in their lives. Some of the things that these girls experienced in their lives and things that were "normal" for them just really broke my heart. Sometimes I would literally cry in my car after leaving mentoring sessions because I knew that these girls were just the tip of the iceberg. These young ladies wanted someone to set standards for them. They wanted to be given tools to grow into proper ladies but if there is no one around to teach them then they simply adapt to their surroundings. I spent a lot of time teaching the girls things that they wouldn't learn in school or even college....proper etiquette and personal grooming. Self esteem boosters. Self respect. I also spent a lot of time giving them advice the type of old fashioned, common sense relationship advice from the older women in my family. But in the end I know that those girls have an uphill battle.

If you have a desire to mentor, please just do it! The need is so great for these girls. Its not about being too young or too old, etc. What many of these girls really need is just a living and breathing example of women who are an example of another type of life that is possible.

Yes, I have heard of Black Girls Code. Its a great STEM focused mentoring for young girls!

The Curly Nikki backlash is just another example of one of "our" movements being infiltrated and usurped by "others" in an attempt to collect more black dollars.

Cool, I think better energy would be spent focusing on the women who you think are better judge of character which according to you isn't black women so I don't understand why this discussion needs to be had.

And if black women lie on black men women of other races im sure would be other end to lick your wounds.

Thanks ive realized its been my passion and I want to be a role model for them. I love black women and it breaks my heart so see the desperation snd how starved they are for consideration.

Men, strive to respect our females. Be a father to the child(ren) you make, make an effort to give that child(ren) a two parent home or at least be cordial towards your childs other parent in front of their face. Strive to grow up and handle responsibility, to be a good example to the youngins in your circle.

Don't let the music/entertainment tell you you're nothing more than a pimp, playa, or rapper/thug. Build up, instead of tearing down. Praise, instead of chastising, make yourself a better man so that you can give yourself and of yourself to your partner/spouse.

Women, same things. Educate yourselves, want and do better!! Don't follow these entertainers and rappers they ALL LIE!! Find men that build you up instead of tearing you down, who strengthen, not weaken you. Respect and love yourself first, THEN make men give you the exact same thing (and give it as well). Value your "goodies" and don't give them away just because. You all are the earth, we are the seeds...You have to have a good fertile "earth" that GROWS STRONG "TREES" who give the "seed" back to the earth...it's one big cycle yall...

I hate being so long winded...but I care deeply about this. I'm out 2-3 days a week prepping youngins in my circle (at my church). I'm enriching my relationship with my wife and building my family unit. Trying to pass the good news on to those around me (and even some strangers too) yall be blessed :salute:

Daps its sad people don't realize the effect it has. Your more than likely to grow up in poverty and lead a destructive life growing up in a single parent home. And for a woman the odds of getting a decent man drops dramatically.

The family structure has been destroyed and eradicated.

and she almost didnt date him. she almost divorced him, and she never looks happy with him currently. all of baracks gfs were white before her. i wouldnt be surprised if their relationship was politically motivated.

like i said, yall wouldnt know how to spot a young obama on the come up. especially in 2014, he'd get written off quick.

she almost divorced...when did that happen? lmao oh wait now i know....

" After Obama’s humiliating defeat he was broke and deeply in debt and it looked as though he might be finished in public life. During the dark days that followed his defeat, he turned to Michelle for comfort. But she was in no mood to offer him sympathy. After all he had refused to listen to her warnings about taking on the formidable Bobby Rush. He had put his family in a precarious financial position. And he had dashed Michelle’s hopes of creating a stable and secure future. As a result their marriage was on the rocks, and Obama confided to friends that he and Michelle were talking about divorce. "

hell i'd damn near dump his ass too...shyt. but nevertheless that had nothing to do with who he was as a person. that had to do with his personal choices.

2. whether or not she looks or is happy is just your opinion not fact.

the reason why he dated mostly white women was cause he was raised around white people

hell his white mother raised him (remember cause his black father abanoned him?)

uhh sidenote, aint thecoli the main ones calling obama a c00n sellout....etc.

now all of a sudden yall obama fans? okay then.
