Madrimov vs Soro 2 should be good though, Soro's not coming off of 2 years inactivity this time
I'm aware of this but still, after dropping below a certain level it's getting hard to pass you as a headliner, this point in his career should come soon. The reason is he has a good fan base and has been in entertaining fights. The last fight with Parker was very entertaining even though Chisora's punch resistance did look weaker, but he showed incredible heart. People know he isn't the elite level but he's popular cause he's had a lot of entertaining fights.
He hasn't really dropped below a certain level in terms of opposition though, he lost to Parker last time who's a former world champion, their previous fight he won it and was robbed in a controversial split decision, prior he fought Usyk and some had him winning, I had it as a draw, 2 of the cards only had 2 points in it. If he loses to Pulev by stoppage yes he may want to consider his health even more, as Pulev is a good fighter but back in the day he wouldn't have been stopping Chisora, if he stops him it would be better for him to take stock and consider.I'm aware of this but still, after dropping below a certain level it's getting hard to pass you as a headliner, this point in his career should come soon.
Tbh he should retire but this dude looks like the type that never gonna retire unless forced to, likes to fight too much for his own good, definitely one that's gonna slur his words in a few years
Breh no one had chisora beating usyk...at best it's a drawHe hasn't really dropped below a certain level in terms of opposition though, he lost to Parker last time who's a former world champion, their previous fight he won it and was robbed in a controversial split decision, prior he fought Usyk and some had him winning, I had it as a draw, 2 of the cards only had 2 points in it. Unknowns? Neither guy should be carrying a main event spot. I'm a dazn supporter and this is poor for Eddie...winner goes on to get pummeled some moreA lot of people at the time did, Tony Bellew and a lot of people around the ring on the night. I know a lot of people that had Chisora personally also, I thought it was a draw though. Had Chisora winning the first 4 so he got a good lead, Usyk came back stronger later on but he lost some of those early rounds to me, and some of the latter ones were debatable/closer. So yeah heard a lot of people say Chisora but personally had it as a draw, but main point was he's been fighting at a high level recently, if he got a win or draw on the scorecards vs Usyk (he thought he'd won the fight at the end) and the first Parker fight win which even Parker's coach Andy Lee thought he'd won things would look a lot different. The last Parker fight I thought he looked significantly worse, defense seemed non existent and punch resistant weaker but also Parker had improved and fought more aggressive under Andy Lee. If he loses/gets stopped against a fighter like Parker who was a world champion probably not the end of the road, Pulev is also good and only lost to Wlad and AJ but he's getting older now so if he stops Chisora now he probably does want to think. It's possible if Chisora is completely shot, not sure if he still has something left or not, could find out. This could be a very good fight or not, too many unknowns to know yet.
I don't really agree, before Chisora moved to DAZN he did 2 PPV fights against Usyk and Parker, then the rematch with Parker was on DAZN. So getting this fight as part of a subscription I don't see the issue with, Chisora has done several well performing PPV's and been in some great fights. He's someone who has a fan base in U.K for that reason as well as his character and antics. I wasn't crazy about the fight either initially but thinking about it it grew on me, do see it as competitive fight, don't know exactly who's gonna win and they had some legit drama back in the day where it got pretty intense. Chisora was chasing his team around the hotels etc and people got hands put on them. When I say unknown I mean the quality of the fight and also the winner, it could be a terrible fight or a great fight, it depends on factors that are probably unknown. People said they didn't want to see Parker vs Chisora 2 but it ended up being viewed as a universally extremely entertaining fight. Chisora can blow hot and cold, has done throughout his career, so I don't know if we're gonna get a classic or a stinker. And it's true both are in the latter stages of their careers but not everybody can be a champion and they still have to fight. Pulev has had some massive exposure cause of some of the big fights he's been in and his popular in his country and in U.K. Chisora is very popular and has a cult like status among some fans. If it was PPV would be an issue, but as part of a subscription I'm paying for anyway with a full undercard not something am mad at.Unknowns? Neither guy should be carrying a main event spot.
