Shawn Porter mentioned this on his podcast that Boxing is really the WOAT in bringing in Celebrities/other Athletes to talk about Boxing. It would bring alot of casual fans and more eyes to the Boxers and make the sport bigger
On the flip side the NBA might be the GOAT in cross promotion, they bring in Celebrities, Comedians, other athletes on ESPN/TNT shows and it really grows the sport to a national/international audience

......blame Errol Spence for taking the easy route. He coulda made this fight 5 years ago.Neither of these guys were household names. Spence ppv's were barely cracking 200k buys. This fight was never doing over 1 million buys. Anything over 600k is a success. Just needed a good amount of casuals to tune in and they got it.
And with bud delivering one of the greatest ass whoopings of all time it ensures plenty of those casuals will return for future fights. And that's what really matters.
Bud is the face of boxing now. Go cry about it

Check my posts...i have given crawford full credit for him putting on a great performance but reality is that he was the reason this fight took so long to make this is DOCUMENTED FACTS regardless of the crazy ass narratives you are trying to paint. And if its true that this fight did below 1 million PPV buys then thats a letdown which Crawford holds alot of responsibility for because of him prolonging it taking place. Its funny you talk about Spence PPV buys.....spence vs porter did 350k while porter vs bud did 135k

The reason why the odds were so close because casuals don’t know who Bud is. They know Errol thanks to PBC hype train. If you go back and listen to pundits before fight they almost all picked Bud. RJJ, Tarver, Atlas, Virgil Hunter, etc… the only one that wavered was Porter but even he said he made Spence uncomfortable and he never made Bud uncomfortable. Coli got some people that don’t know shyt about boxing…why even be in the Ring? My cousin texted me form the fight, he was with a group of people in a video and the ALL picked Spence BY KO! I can send you the text where I told him all of y’all are wrong, Bud is gonna fukk Errol up. Then next day I said I told y’all and he was like yeah you did.
The Ring is insufferable. EVERY fight Bud beat they had excuse, especially for the undefeated ones. Gamboa too small, indongo was a nobody, Horn got lucky against PAC, Benevidez was a one legged fighter, etc….now it’s Errol was damaged goods or he was overrated. I don’t know how Bud was so patient to be honest after people saying he was scared of Spence and he was ducking him and he was using money as excuse or he was hiding behind Arum. I would’ve been so heated hearing this knowing I can beat this dude’s ass.
