I think he's actually a good edition to boxing if he gets his mind right and starts to fight the right fights. Doesn't seem so though...

I mean he's a 2 time champ, undefeated Champ headlining Boxing events on premium cable.. Could be much worse
But it could be much more.. My main gripe is I think he's got what it takes to be the total package... but I can't properly assess his defensive talent because all he fights these days are against Hispanic Jobbers ,with deceiving records , who at most will go 5 rounds until they get stopped

None of that gonna mean much if you having the type of career where nikkas aint gonna remember none of that shyt in 2 years.
That's the problem with boxing now. These nikkas is praising and taking solace in everything but their own legacy. Tank just popular for no reason now. I can't spin any of that shyt into a positive, because it hurts the sport in the long run. If Tank moves up and continues this trend, he'd end up being Crawford 2.0. Popular talented kid with no meaningful fights.
Wasting all this buzz each year for a handful of rounds against jobbers on the easy setting. I don't like to wish upsets on anybody, but dude needs a wake up call in the ring.

Cmon breh, we, hardcore boxing fans know he is not the real WBA champion now but Cancio. As far as I'm concerned the last time he was a champ was before the Fonseca fight where he lost his title on the scales.

you right fam you right I ain't a betting man, but if they fought I'd definitely put money towards Tank. Davis lacks a lot of the core principles , discipline most obvious, to be a dominant champion for years on end but hes got immense talent.
Just hope to see him get legitimately tested in the near future. Which I highly doubt but its wishful thinking.

Which is especially funny since some of them are very vocal about being free agents who are not signed to any promoter so if anyone they could go to fight wherever they like to. That if they are really free agents and it's not just bs
