The Money May promo playbook lives on
When she heard whoop that trick and realised shields isn't as featherfisted as the internet saysimagine hearing "whoop that trick" and then actually getting whooped!
I never got this knock on her. Even if she doesn't knock out all her opponents, the way she dominates is better than a knock out imo.Imagine finding ways to hate on Clarissa, this chick done it all at every weight, and dudes wanna talk about her lack of KOs. What now? Go watch non-skilled Luche Libre boxers.
That criticism is reserved for a certain type of fighter please and no one else. Boxing is now the sport of knock outs and not skill. The science isn’t appreciated like it once was, society took over.I never got this knock on her. Even if she doesn't knock out all her opponents, the way she dominates is better than a knock out imo.
She can sit on her punches now. Even with the added weight she will still easily be the fastest fighter in that weight class by a wide margin not to mention Shields has always been a solid broad physically. If she stays at heavyweight I expect the towel to get thrown frequently because the difference is unlike when she fought Marshall or Hammer she legit hurt Joanisse and her corner smartly stopped the fight cause she was gonna take a beating. Shields was entirely too fast for her and she had pop on them punches, old girl brain woulda been mush by the end of 10.Beautiful boxing/defense/combination punching to get that KO . Weight cuts were negating that power, biggest adjustment to me is that she is sitting on/turning those punches over too
I don't even expect knockout power from femalesI never got this knock on her. Even if she doesn't knock out all her opponents, the way she dominates is better than a knock out imo.
It’s always been that way, most people watching boxing are casual observers and beyond that an unbelievable percentage of humans are completely unable to watch any form of combat and decipher what is going on beyond the spectacle of combat. All they see is the knockout punch, for the life of them you’d be unable to get them to explain how it was set-up and what strategy was usedThat criticism is reserved for a certain type of fighter please and no one else.
