i'd add him vs Austin 3 stages of hell for a top 5 HHH matches list

His top five singles matches for me are this, 3 stages of hell vs Austin, one of his title matches vs the rock (pick one of them between backlash or judgement day 2000), one of his last 2 Wrestlemania matches against taker, and hell in a cell vs Batista at vengeance 2005.

The Mania match with Bryan deserves some fringe mention too.

This one stands out maybe even more than the rest because he was mostly trash during this time frame though. shyt felt like a mirage at the time.

He was carrying way too much weight at the time. I think he was nearly 20 pounds bigger than he was wrestling at when he tore his quad.

As awful as he is now, he was that must-see back then.

Just 3.5 years ago he was arguably the hottest name besides Bryan. Amazing how much damage sitting in purgatory waiting for Roman to try getting over can do to your heat. It’s truly amazing how much better taz and Cole are when paired together.
