Winning maybe one round while running around the ring and focusing only on defense was fighting scared..

Not jabbing is fighting scared brehs, he found out he was out gunned with power and speed and that put him into survival mode and he didn’t know what to do. Even when he was on the front foot he was scared to throw because Inoue was faster than him.
A jab don’t mean shyt if

1. Your jab doesn’t do a thing to deter your opponent (it didn’t )
2. Your opponent has zero respect for whatever you’re trying to set up with the jab (Inoue didn’t respect his power at all)

There was no point in continuing to jab when Inoue would immediately counter with some shyt that would send his soul flying if it landed ..If your jab isn’t going to deter him or set anything up that’s going to deter him from a lack of power you do what Fulton did …Try to force it because you have no other shot .

He didn’t run ,he literally stayed in front of Inoue in the midrange getting his stomach jabbed the hell up and his nose bloodied. If you want to say he didn’t engage enough in the midrange ..cool ..and when that became apparent he attempted to get inside, had his best moments by far and got battered and knocked out for it . Fighting scared would’ve been completely disengaging from the fight and go into survival mode which he did not do

Basically what I'm really impressed about. It was literally boxing skills that won the fight.

You can tell Fulton was completely surprised by by the very first punch that landed on him. Then dude kept catching Fulton by surprise the rest of the fight with pure boxing. That's the scary part.

Unpredictable with textbook boxing skills. That's basically what sets Floyd and this guy apart from everyone else.
People have the check hook, jab to the body, shoulder roll and the Mayweather "tricks" they've copied, but they don't have the actual substance.
That's what's going to make him really difficult to beat. You're basically going to have to catch him with something dynamite and hope he can't shake it off.

Watch that very first jab to the body in the first round (first punch of the fight that landed in the fight), you can tell Fulton was completely surprised by it.

I thought the teofimo performance was impressive,,,,,,,,,,, this one upped it. Fulton was lost in there

He was not as aggressive as he normally is. Yes we know he's defensively responsible and what not, but outside of a few here and there's, IMO, he wasn't trying to do anything to show he was the bigger man with the longer reach and was not showing his slickness. There's a difference in being slick and being on your bike and he was on his bike more times than not.

Being the bigger man is a myth . Inoue’s power threw that talking point in the bushes, he didn’t have the physical advantage to bully him ,his longer reach is cool but if your jab and power doesn’t make your opponent blink …what is it good for ?

Inoue was stronger and quicker . He was levels above Stephen in every facet . There wasn’t anything Fulton was capable of doing to slow him down ,if a fighter wants to survive or is scared he would’ve done exact oppose of what Fulton did in the later rounds in the fight . He tried to become confrontational ,hit Inoue with a few decent shots and got laid out.which is commendable

All this Fulton was scared shyt is sounding like nikkas trying to cope with the fact that Fulton isn’t on the same planet as Inoue as a fighter and instead of giving Inoue props we gonna tear down Fulton

The monster made Fulton look like a statue, kept him right in front of him the whole fight.

I get cha logic and dont disagree at all. Like you mentioned, Monster was/is just…better than Fulton and some folks as myself may consider a fighter being flustered as being scared.

I'm saying....the difference in talent was obvious

But he STILL shouldn't have been getting pushed back. On paper he's bigger, that just showed me that Fulton is physically weak
Yeah it was obvious from the beginning. i knew it was over after da first round. I gotta give that boy credit

Inoue had the range figured out real fast which made fulton reluctant to jab because he would just get countered. EVen though he's the shorter man he's so fast he can close the distance super quick
