Styles and Cesaro are GOD-tier, skillwise, but I honestly don't believe they move that emotional needle the way a D-Bry or Sami Zayn do. They had people on the verge of tears when they won the WWE title and NXT title, respectively.

Styles and Cesaro would make you go when they win the gold.

Sami and D-Bry make you go when they win it.

There is lot tied to Daniel Bryan..all the death after he got the belt(father, the kid, Warrior) and the politics that REALLY were trying to derail him when he was CLEARLY the best in the industry. Sami isn't that because he's not better than Cesaro or AJ and fans know that. He's good at come back matches though. That's his niche.

Vince McMahon tried to bury Cesaro for no reason on that podcast and Bryan has put Cesaro over in every interview you hear from him. There's more to him and his connection to fans than most.
