Dogboe landed the cleaner shots throughout imo, Joet was throwing but also often too willing to wait on his turn and this might be just optics but his shots look less snappy, rather flowing which doesn't help with the judges.

Thought Dogboe earned it, had him winning a close fight. Good that this was a WBC eliminator, not a WBO one cause Dogboe is not ready for a Navarrete rematch yet, and probably never will. Besides I and I guess most other fans have no desire to see that fight a third time after the first two were so one-sided.

He might have more success against Rey Vargas though who's good but isn't as punishing and relentless as Navarrete, he brings a more boxing-oriented approach to the table and that's good news for Dogboe.

I hope someone is there to tell Gabe Flores' dad repeatedly how he fukked up his son's punch resistance for good when he was on his macho shyt and didn't pull him out against Venado Lopez. His chin is gone.

Flores has always been very cocky though acted like he's already a big shot, Lopez loss even coudn't humble him, so I'm not feeling bummed out about how things turned out for him either.

i watch the main and co main this morning

the co main - i think @Electric Ladyland was the one mentioned beforehand that cabrera could really fight...mfr nearly came close to scoring a 1st round TKO on flores...that left has high powered..he put a whoopin on flores for 10 rounds..3 KD's at that...roach and them said they worked on power and for a cat with 7 ko's that was an impressive amount of damage he caused. flores face which they showed when he left the arena was just ...eyes were trademarked badly..flores is a decent boxer who doesn't have any elite intangibles...has the same amount of ko's as cabrera but cabrera wasnt all that bothered by him..horrible defense, cant really create any real offense to make up for it, and like bradley kept on mentioning him doesnt seem to have an ounce of real physical strength in him...this is the 3rd fight in a row where he has taken significant punishment..and what is worse is that he is only 22 :gucci:...if TR wants to save this career they need to sit down with his brain trust and team and figure what they need to do..he is getting to the point where he is ready to be ruined..135 is not the division for him when you are getting hit too gotdamn cleanly by the b-c level fighters he's been facing

the main event was a really good fight...i was really impressed with dogboe for sticking to his boxing and not go all out and try to slug with joet gonzalez...dogboe established he was in the fight early and never wavered even through the few shaky moments when joet finally woke up...joet made this fight closer once he did but he woke up too late...for whatever reason he was too hesitant...was dogboe hitting him harder than he liked or the navarrete asswhoopin was still fresh or he left something at the weigh in..i dont know but he could have won this fight...nonetheless i did score this a draw...wasnt mad at the judges scores though..mark kriegel was correct...dogboe will never beat navarrete and their 2 fights were just steady beatdowns..the first fight was competitive though..bradley was trippin on wanting that 3rd fight :heh:...if dogboe is steered towards fighting rey vargas thats a much better fight for him....my only concern is since that last loss to navarrete, 3 out of the 4 fights dogboe had were just too damn close on the cards as he won those decisions..i want him to start knocking out these guys if he can. but joet is a gotdamn racist so dogboe winning that decision over him while he was looking vexed was good :myman:..he proved me wrong..NEHO!!!!

yea breh i’ve been said Flores was nothing special from the start

i never understood why TR invested heavily in him even having Ward as his co-manager
