They already taped next week's idiot.

TNA Impact Wrestling TV Taping

1. Mr. Anderson defeated Hernandez. It lasted about seven minutes with Anderson hitting the Mic Check' after Hernandez missed with his diving body tackle from the rampway to inside the ring...

2. Manik defeated Greg Marasciuolo and Sonjay Dutt in an Ultimate X match to win the X Division Title. Marasciuolo (pronounced mar-chu-low) worked as Trent Barreta in WWE and on the indy scene. Dutt hits a nice moonsault off the support structure on Manik while both were on the arena floor. Marasciulo got a respectable pop from the crowd (more than Dutt) but crowd favorite was clearly Manik.

At one point it appeared that Manik knocked a tooth out of Marasciulo. Nice offensive spots from all three competitors. Dutt and Manik had the first offensive exchange while both were on the ropes above the ring. Both were knocked off and manik hit a power bomb on dutt. Marasciulo recovered to hit a combo pile driver/powerbomb move on Manik while on the rampway.

Dutt and Marasciulo continue in the ring and after Dutt hit a superkick on Marasciulo, I don't think he will have many teeth left. Very dangerous spot where Dutt and Marasciulo actually scaled to the top of the metal structure. Manik used the opportunity to scale the ropes and claim the title belt...

We had a 'celebration' segment with Chris Sabin and the Main Event Mafia that was interrupted by Bully Ray and his 'attorney.' He said that they had until the end of the telecast to return the title belt. Ho hum stuff...

Next up was Velvet Sky cut a promo for herself and the upcoming title match between Gail Kim and Mickie James...

3. Mickie James defeated Gail Kim to retain the TNA Knockouts Title. Gail used the ropes on more than one occasion trying to gain the pinfall. At about the seven minute mark, Kim and ODB (referee) got into a verbal altercation and Kim slapped ODB. James snuck in and rolled up Kim for the win. After the match, they may have set up a match between Kim and ODB for next week...

4. Christopher Daniels defeated Samoa Joe in a Bound For Glory Series match. They went right into this match. Joe got a huge pop and chants of 'Joe is gonna kill you' started immediately. Joe had the bulk of the offense and it actually appeared to be a squash, but Daniels got a good bit of offense in once the match got going. As Joe set up for the Gutbuster finisher, Mr. Anderson came to the ring and caused the distraction for Daniels to pick up the pinfall at the nine minute mark.

Hulk Hogan came out at while Bully and Sabin were arguing and said that Sabin keeps the TNA Title, but there will be rematch in Norfolk, Virginia at Hardcore Justice in a cage match with Main Event Mafia and Aces & 8's barred from ringside.

5. A.J. Styles defeated Jeff Hardy in a Bound For Glory Series match. Styles won by submission to pick up ten points in the BFG Series.

Hernandez needs to come to WWE and be Alberto Del Rio's goon, better than being Chavo's buddy :comeon:

OK, I just woke up and read the results...

Sabin's the new Heavyweight Champ? The fukk? :wtf:

I mean, good for him and all, but this isn't Austin Aries from last year, where he had enough momentum and was over enough to merit derailing a storyline to put the belt on him. The hell is TNA thinking here?

You had the :wtf: face, I had the :damn: face with both Bully and Mark Henry not holding gold this week, TNA has the :troll: face.

Sorry, but Sabin is one of the reasons why people are still interested in wrasslin.
In the early 2ooo's,....
Sabin = gawd on the Indy's run.
Helped make, innovate and keep inring workrate quality as an evolving science going into the new century.

So, I am glad he gets an underdog run with the title.
Sabin can make a good high quality match with anyone on roster.

Yo I'm just happy to see the Cop Killa vertebreaker again, you can tell most of the crowd weren't too familiar with Homicide until they went :krs: when he damn near killed Petey

Sonjay's moonsault stomp is sick every time too

While I am not excited over Sabin getting the belt (it just seems like an unnecessary move at this poiint) I am not haitng on him being the champ and I am surprised so many of you are. He is pretty much the same bland, milquetoast type of wrestler as that flabby bum CM Punk is except Sabin doesn't wrestle like a sloppy drunk.

so why he didn't with Bully?

I believe the context of that match was more based on the run-in, and showing bully in the driver's seat till the fukkery commenced for the title change.
Similar to when duhtay first went over flair for the title

I think the outrage mainly comes from:

1. Bully Ray and his crew were raping TNA in the ass for the past year making him Thanos-like as champion so you expected him to fall at a major event like Bound For Glory... not free tv.

2. Bully Ray was so damn dominate in this match so the fact that he lost to a hammer shot while may have been poetic justice just proves that AJ was right when he says there are no more heroes... it wasn't a pure win by Sabin so it's gonna be disputed.

3. Where the fukk does this leaves AJ Styles? We all naturally assumed that all of the Aces and Eights chaos was gonna be stopped by the one man that everyone turned their backs on cause we thought he fukked a crackhead and made him an outcast only for us to call him a savior in the end.... now what AJ gonna do now?

Even if AJ wins the Bound For Glory Tournament and Bully regains the title from Sabin leading both of them to have a match at Bound For Glory it won't have that same impact now since we know that Bully is beatable. TNA didn't learn from their mistake with James Storm last year... they build him up with an excellent redemption story only for him to randomly lose and randomly giving the title to Jeff Hardy now Storm is randomly teaming with Gunner never to be seen again.

Overral this is kinda like Goldberg beating Hoegan for the WCW Title all over again... cool moment but wasted on free tv that lead to nothing :yeshrug:
