Omega/Elgin started off a bit goofy...but that was a great final run.

Now our main event: Naito vs. Shibata!

Holy shyt Naito spit up a lot of blood!

Much more submission focused than I would have thought.

Shibata forgoes a speech. Fun selling.

Must watch bouts of Day 8:

Naito/Shibata - A wounded Shibata is prey for LOS!, but was it Tetsuya's destino to be victorious? More visceral than I could have expected.
Nagata/Nakajima - Young buck seeks to up the old vet and pays for it dearly. Both men destroy each other over one simple thing. Pride.
EVIL/YOSHI - Two new G1 entrants fight to fall further from the pack. And they fight hard.

Honorable mention: Omega/Elgin - started off slow, but the final 5 minutes were fantastic. If not for the shenanigans and filler, it would have made the list.

Okada was an ass trying to Tombstone Tenzan yesterday, he sure as hell won't do it today. I think he gets the W regardless.

And he does. Okada and Makabe are tied for first.

At this point, the only excitement in Okada winning the G1 is facing Marufuji again

So far, Tama/Ishii the only match worth checking out, and it's definitely not a must watch. A block is Ass.

Accidental double post, thanks to the daily 5:30 Coli outage.

Goto/Tana is pretty good so far, though.

Edit:
Looks like winning streak for Tanahashi to face Okada, who will probably only lose to Makabe from here on out.
