Man what the hell happened to the WWE

It's so commercial and too perfect in presentation. Go back to being for 18-30 year old men.

Look how cool just the texture of Shawn-Angle looked.

That's the thing though, that wasn't the WWE's target demo, their target demo was everybody. It just so happened that everybody related to what was going on at the time, whether it's the 8 year old kid flipping middle fingers, the 19 year old beer swirling frat boy, or the 33 year old milf who wanted the Rock, Edge & Christian, and the Hardyz to run a train on them. A good portion of 2008 til now, the WWE's demo has almost exclusively been Ned Flanders' kids and soccer mom's, and that's reflected in what you see on TV, stuff that basically insults the intelligence of everyone else.

The Brock, Reigns, & Samoa Joe segment is exactly how a promo segment should be, intense from start to finish and no lame ass written jokes.

Exactly. shyt came off real legit and unpredictable. No jokes, it flowed nice, and didn't appear like it was written word for word.

Kurt's documentary was good it showed the highlights of his career and his downs behind the scenes, I felt for him when mentioned that his family are addicts and the fact that his sister OD'd. It made sense for AJ and Samoa Joe to be in the documentary them two had the best matches with Kurt.

I don't mind comedy be it mid card or main event, my problem is the WWE makes every main event program a comedy skit. You can have jokes here and there but the promo needs to end with each wrestler making the other believe that the other is in serious trouble. The reason why Rock & SCSA worked so well is because while Rock would bring the funny, SCSA would be right there to bring him back down to earth and let him know it's going to be a fight.

It really feels like Paul has carved himself a little creative niche, where anyone who interacts with him and Brock gets a little respite from Vince's ineptitude and looks credible.

It's no coincedence that 50 year old Goldberg came back and looked like a god for a couple of months

If we heard years down the line that Paul was writing this and then running it past Cokeboy, it wouldn't surprise me..

You're right; they did add some narrative and continuity into things last night, but his 52 Moves of Doom are absurd. If Nash/Hogan/Bret's 5 moves of doom are a joke, Seth is a joke at the opposite end of the spectrum.
