:mjlol:@ "Godammit Shoota, my wife is gonna be so mad at me. She hates tables and shyt :francis:"

Can't really blame him for leaving the E if he wanted to do this with his life instead of reading promos about how people stink.:yeshrug:

Really liked the last 15 minutes of Kota/Will, I can dig Ospreay's suicide tour and I always enjoy aggressive Kota, very neat tree of woe revenge spot. Ibushi didn't sell his knee at ALL. And it's legit injured :heh: Kota's research has indicated that selling the leg is counter productive :manny: Why did the match need to be so long though. I'd be really into Ospreay just doing a spotfest but he's really into this ''epic best in the world'' thing. The rope german was kinda funny too, you could see he was thinking of firing up like an anime :dead:

Moxley/Ishii :whew: Probably my match of the tournament so far. Belt Ishii NOW.

Just finished Ibushi/Ospreay...

Anyone who doesn't think that Ospreay isn't the 2019 version of Best in the World era Davey Richards might need their head examined. Same flaws, same match structure, slightly different type of wrestler.

Match made me feel deep ambivalence besides wanting to see Ibushi wrestle somebody else. Didn't hate it or even think it was a complete waste of 27 minutes (I totally didn't need 27 minutes of this though). But I could have done many more productive things with my life than watch those two abandon story and selling to get their shyt in.

him doing the flippy escape to the paradise lock had me :francis: literally everyone sells that move but Ospreay gotta Ospreay :stopitslime:

We should all have such a young lion :mjcry:

Ospreay said after the match that his arm went numb with every bump :whoa:

John Moxley vs Tomohiro Ishii - NJPW G1 Climax 7/19/19

AIR ISHII :krs: :krs: :krs:

Admittedly, I was expecting a classic considering it was at Korakuen, and that's never a fair expectation to have with a match (though there are some that live up to it). This didn't reach THAT level, but it was still awesome to watch. I was compelled by Mox's work as the "big guy" in the match, it didn't feel out of place at all - he is taller, but that doesn't necessarily means you can make me believe you can go toe to toe with Ishii, let alone overpower him, and Moxley did it - and it felt like he knew how to work this type of match better than Cobb. The brawling at the start was fine, but once they go back to the ring this shyt picks up and becomes a really great "your turn/my turn" type of match. The fukkery hardore stuff worked because Korakuen was fully into it and rallied behind Ishii, once dude hits the top rope plancha you are fully into his comeback, I do think the match peaked there and wasn't able to get back to that level, even though the last few minutes were pretty good for the type of match they were going for.

Haven't seen much of the tourney and don't intend to but this has been the best I've seen from the G-1 so far. (still gotta check KENTA/Tana).

I need this Moxley/"Shooter" Umino tag team to be a long term deal. I was already sold from Dominion onward, but shyta saying that made me see real potential in the pairing.

Ospreay is such a dumbass. He's going to Dynamite Kid himself doing all of this nonsense while hurt. All the talent in the world and no brain with which to use it.

To be fair, Ospray should've DK'd himself a couple of years ago and he keeps going with no sign of slowing down. He'll crash and burn eventually but dude is the best at that ridiculous flippy style and a fukk ton of people love what he does, let him enjoy his run and flip his way into a career ending injury in X years :manny:

This day was all about Ishii/Moxley. Both men looked insanely strong here and the match was dope. It did go on a tad too long so the match lost some momentum towards the end but that Death Rider was brutal.

A great follower to a match that meant nothing between Naito/Goto. Neither man could afford to lose that match but at the same time you realize that the win wouldn't change anything for either talent. fukk Gedo!

Moxley going over Okada at WK with the Death Rider DDT :blessed:

Great match. I know Moxley said he wouldn't be with NJPW after the summer, but I hope that changes. He's been on fire in NJPW. You can definitely tell dude has been re-energized. I would actually rather see him continue to mix it up with the New Japan roster than AEW roster at this point.

We need Moxley vs. Suzuki :banderas:

:russ: @ at Gedo yelling "Why you smiling modafukkaaa!"

shyt had me :laff:
