It’s okay to say I like Jay-Z despite the unnecessarily bad optics of the NFL deal, the fact that he’s continuously accused of snaking multiple people he came up with, lost the Nas beef and made ghetto techno.. he still remains my favorite artist


Some of you dudes get too caught up in playing defense that you’ll do all types of mental backflips to justify unjustifiable shyt. Sometimes it just is what it is.


Normalize being fans of flawed artists, and admitting as much. You don’t have to paint this perfect picture of them in your mind and project it. It’s completely okay to call these dudes out on fukk shyt while still enjoying their art.


If 6ix9ine entertains you despite all the fukk shyt he continues to do, say that and we can keep it moving. Justifying the fukk shyt, and deflecting attention everywhere else in an attempt to make his fukk shyt seem acceptable is unnecessary

I mean no disrespect to anyone but in my opinion a lot of people would highly consider being an informant if they are faced with a lengthy prison sentence.

However you reiterate the point I was making which is take away the trolling, the hair etc I see a misguided and lost young man who didn’t have people around him to help him make better choice. He now has to be accountable for those choices and I agree with that. It truly is a cautionary tale.

Only that wasn’t his situation. He wanted in on that lifestyle to further his career. This isn’t the typical sad tale of some kid looking for a way to eat and a sense of family and belonging.

Gang shyt ain’t foreign to any kid growing up in the environment he was in. He knew what was gonna come with that and he chose that life. That’s part of why nobody feels sympathy for him. I honestly couldn’t tell you about any songs he has. I’m only familiar with him because of the drama. There is no point in any of my posts where I justified any of his action.

I have absolutely no dog in this race, and as I’ve said I’m not going to judge someone on their actions. I watched the video of the interview and gave my opinion . I also find that some people here have displayed hypocrisy but that is their choice.

Tekashi made terrible choices and has to live with them. Should he be held accountable? Absolutely. Do I believe he was in way over his head with what he thought was a gangster lifestyle? Absolutely. Do I also believe he had terrible people who didn’t offer guidance and took advantage? Absolutely. I just don’t hate him as much as some folk do, or wish death or danger upon him.... just my two cents...
