there’s a difference between dating someone who’s in their mid 20’s and you’re in your late 30’s as oppose to being in your 30’s and counting down the days till a chick is 17/18 breh

that’s called grooming, especially if you know her through someone’s family on some “friend of the family” type shyt

Male or female it’s creepy as hell and reeks of desperation

grooming isn't just limited to people who are in your immediate family

Child grooming - Wikipedia

if you're eyeing or trying to get close to a teenager girl until she's of legal age that's creepy.

and very pathetic.

and not to mention there's the whole aspect of power dynamics, social and literal currency involved as well

eh.. i get what you're saying but it's a slippery slope. So no older man should holla at a woman if he "knew" her before she was of legal age? knew her how? is there a certain closeness that the guy shouldn't have? let's say a guy works at a car wash and he saw the girl sometimes and then he sees her again and she's in her 20s and she GREW UP NICELY? should dude not holla?

:jbhmm:

what are the rules of engagement for this? and who is establishing the rules?

to me, grooming is if you're a stepdad or something... and your stepdaughter grows up and you tryna get at her. :dwillhuh: a situation like that? that's grooming

anything else within reason is fair game.
